Hellooo! It's Maggie here, let me tell you a little bit about how it all started...

Our Story

I'd had enough of this temper tantrum, I thought.
Anger consumed my heart like a wild fire; without self-control, I yelled back at my toddler with as much sass and attitude as a teenager, and he screamed back even harder ignoring my "effort" to stop his nonsense.

Regret immediately filled my heart.
I blew it again. I thought.

Disappointed in myself and feeling like a failure,
I grabbed my Bible and retreated into the bathroom.
As I was sitting there feeling the worst mom guilt, I realized I didn't even remember how long it'd been since I'd had a good soul-refreshing quiet time.
It's been too long.

Does this sound familiar to you?
I know my struggle is the struggle of countless moms.
I've lived it.
I also know we can't stay this way - for the good of our own spiritual + emotional well-being and of our family's.

So I decided to write a bite-sized Bible Study Guide for moms like you and me - moms in the midst of the noisy chaotic exhausting years. Since then we've received many testimonials of how the Study Guides have been a blessing to moms across the country.

If you're in the middle of these noisy chaotic exhausting years, let me hold your hands and look you in the eyes and say, "it is hard but you're not alone."

Your desire to pursue God with zeal and passion, your desire to become that Proverbs 31 woman, they can all become a reality if you abide in Him first.

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
— John 15:5

Scripture says we can do nothing apart from Jesus. How many times that proved true in my life when I tried to do things with my own strength but I fell flat on my face!

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
— Colossians 3:16

We're not women who happen to read the word. We're women dwelling in the word who happen to be wives + mothers. We are #indweltwomen - think of how much fruit we can bear if we all dwell in the Word and do everything out of love and obedience to Christ!

Friend, you can pursue God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind while you pour out to your family. You can draw from the living water first so that it fuels everything you say and do. I am right here by your side if you're ready to start this journey as an Indwelt Woman.
